BYU Marriott / AI Foundry
We build the AI leaders and production systems that transform how businesses compete.
Where builders forgeAI systems.
BYU's AI Foundry pairs MBA and undergrad builders with real clients to ship production AI systems. Not case studies. Not prototypes. Real work, real stakes — and a network of the sharpest AI minds coming out of BYU.

We make, not just study.
Cases are someone else's decisions, already made. We pick up the tools and forge our own — in code, in product, in the room with the client.
Real clients, real stakes.
Every project ships for an actual company with actual users. No simulations. No hypotheticals graded on a curve.
Production, not prototypes.
A demo proves an idea. Production proves you. We build systems that run after the semester ends — and put your name on them.
01
What is AI Foundry
The builder is the new strategist.
Strategy, product, design, and engineering are collapsing into one role. The people who own the next decade won't wait for a hand-off — they'll take an idea from insight to shipped system themselves.
AI Foundry is a Learn, Do, Become program at BYU's Marriott School of Business. Each cohort pairs 12 MBAs with 12 undergraduates for one to two years of hands-on AI product work — with real clients and real stakes.

For organizations
Put the Foundry to work.
Demand is high. Every accepted project is taken on by a Foundry team and shipped as a production system — not a slide deck, not a proof of concept. We review every proposal.
01
Submit a proposal
Tell us what you want built — the problem, who it's for, and what a great outcome looks like. Takes five minutes.
02
We review and scope
Every proposal is reviewed by the Foundry team. Accepted projects are scoped with you before work begins.
03
MBA + undergrad team ships it
A high-caliber cross-functional team builds and ships a production system. Flat $5,000 fee, subject to scope.
Why companies take the bet
Trust is forged, not claimed.
The Foundry is new, and we won't rent a logo wall to hide it. What we offer instead is a process built so the risk sits with us, not with you.
Submit a project →Reviewed, scoped, then built
No project starts until we've reviewed the proposal and scoped the outcome with you. If we can't ship it, we don't take it.
A team you can vet by name
Every builder behind the Foundry is on this site with a face, a bio, and a LinkedIn you can check. No anonymous bench.
Backed by BYU Marriott
An official program of BYU's Marriott School of Business. The university's name is on the door, and ours are right next to it.
One flat fee, no surprises
$5,000, an agreed scope, and a production system you own. If scope changes, we re-scope together before anything else is built.

Program Structure
